Obituary of Chris Steele

Christopher Steele, 60 of Easton PA, formerly of Washington NJ died on Tuesday April 9, 2019 in Easton Hospital, Easton PA.

He was born in Phillipsburg NJ on October 25. 1958. He was the son of the late Edward Sr.and Edith Williams Steele.

Chris was a self-employed General contractor.

He was a 1977 graduate of Warren Hills High School and a 1981 graduate of Montclair State University. 

Chris was a member of the Central Easton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses'
 

 He is survived by a son Cory Steele, brothers; Spencer Walker of Hutto Texas, Jimmy Walker of Washington NJ, Edward Steele of Washington NJ, Lewis Steele of Easton PA, John Steele of Easton PA, sisters; Patricia Barbara of Port Murray NJ, Ina Walls of Port Murray NJ, Susan Emanu EL of Garner NC, Marion Gaskins of Sicklersville NJ, Carole Rice of Easton  PA, Nancy Steele of Glen Gardner NJ and Mary Steele of Bethlehem PA and many nieces and nephews.

A brother Joseph Steele preceded him in death in 2008.

Calling hours will be Monday April 15th from 5-7PM followed by a time of remembrance at 7PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ 07882
