Obituary of Florence Snook Beam

Mrs. Florence Snook Beam, 74, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away at home on October 22, 2017.

Florence was born on November 29, 1943 to the late Anthony and Catherine (Kosmarek) Hydash in Great Meadows, NJ. 

She was married to the late Alexander Beam and was a Certified Nursing Assistant for more than 35 years at the Warren Haven Nursing Home in Oxford, NJ.

Florence loved her cats and dogs.  She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.  And loved her flowers that grew in her yard.

She is survived by her sons Anthony and his companion Karen Gares of Phillipsburg, NJ, Thomas and wife Helen of Annandale, NJ; a daughter Lisa and her companion Buck Crocker of Broadway, NJ; sisters Tessie Trzecleakiewicz of Great Meadows, NJ, Josephine Skylar of Buttzville, NJ, and Eleanor Thomas of Hackettstown, NJ.  She was a preceded in death by her husband and her brother John Hydash. 

Viewing will be held Wednesday October 25, 2017 from 10-11:00 am at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882 with a funeral service following at 11:00 am.  Interment will be at the Pleasant Hill and Flanders Hillside Cemetery in Chester, NJ.
