Obituary of Charles Greene

Charles Albert Greene, 71, of 7 Railroad Avenue, Washington parted this life at Warren Hospital on Monday, February 5, 2008. Charles was born on April 9, 1936 in Parsippany, NJ the son of Leroy B. Greene and Emma Tillery Greene and was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Peterson of Anderson, Mansfield Township NJ. Charles attended Port Colden and Hackettstown Schools. He worked at Seven-Up Bottling Company in Port Colden and retired several years ago from Taylor-Wharton Iron and Steel Company in High Bridge. Survivors: Charles was preceded in death by his parents, foster parents and his brother, Leroy B. Greene. He is survived by his dear friend Matthew Pinkman. Services: Family and friends may call at the Devoe Funeral Home, 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ at 10:00 am on February 8, 2008. Service will begin at 11:00 am.
