The Beckett - Clarke family relationship goes back many years, to the early 1950s. As a young child growing up, I was always in awe of the exploits of the Clarke "boys!" Their mother Magda was a close and dear friend of my mother Marian Beckett. Sincere condolences go out to the family of Sidney. My condolences to the entire family as you know we were all raised so close so me and my family consider you all our family. This is also a loss to us because Mr Clarke was like a dad to us all. He was one of the original village dads and helped shaping us all into very respectful adults and for that he will always have a special place in our hearts.He has and will be missed by us all. We love you guys so much and miss you all so much and wish we could all attend the services but know our hearts are with you all at this time of bereavement. The Hareld family...

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Clarke's transition. I pray it was peaceful. I hadn't seen him for a very long time. However, he made a unforgettable impression on me. He was a no nonsense man in a turbulent time. After reading about his life I see why and would have expected nothing less. Unfortunately, my family and I wiill not be able to attend.
