Obituary of Paulette Susan Gerard

Paulette Susan Gerard 64 of Washington NJ, passed away on Sunday at June 11th, 2017 in Raritan N.J.

She was born in Newark NJ on December 7, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Paul Kirkhum Sr. and Shirley Fisher McClain.

Paulette was a in-home day care provider for 28 years.

She was a 1970 graduate of Warren Hills Regional high School. Paulette was a Past President and active member of the Washington Woman's Club. She was also a one time member of the Junior Woman's Club of Washington. She was a former Boy and Girl Scout Leader in Washington NJ.

Paulette was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington NJ and recently attended the Second Presbyterian Church of Oxford NJ.

Surviving is her husband Harry of 43 years, a son Chad and his wife Chelsea of Richmond VA, daughter Heather Nabors of Greenville TN, brothers; Larry McClain, Paul Kirkhum of Phillipsburg and John Kirkhum of Mt Bethel PA, sisters; Carol Martin of Belvidere NJ and Joann Ames of Oxford NJ, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a niece.

Visitation will be Thursday June 15, 2-3PM and 6-8PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ. Funeral will be on Friday June 16, and 11 AM in the funeral Home. Cremation will be private.
