Obituary of William Thompson
William "Poncho" B. Thompson, 43, of Palmer, PA passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012.
William was born on September 10, 1968 in Easton, PA. He was the son of the late Raymond G. Thompson, Sr. and Carolyn M. Thompson.
William was very active, he loved working out and going to the gym. He like hiking, biking, and the Philiadelphia Eagles. He loved working in the garden with Shanin and walking his dogs. He was a family man and loved spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews. William also loved to travel to Virginia.
In addition to his mother, Carolyn Thompson, he is survived by his companion, Shanin Bachstein, three brothers, Raymond G. Thompson, Jr., Edward Gibson, and Troy Gibson, three sisters, Marcia Villamill, Darcel Gibson, and Cynthia Dorn, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held July 28, 2012 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Mt. Pisgah Church, 169 N. Lincoln Ave., Washington, NJ. He donated his body to Gift of Life. The DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. has been entrusted with his arrangements.Online condolences at www.devoefuneral.com.
