To Carl's family, please accept my condolences. I first met Carl when I was a reporter for the Belvidere News and he was in the Oxford Emergency Squad. Later, we worked together on the Warren County War Memorial - first as builders of the monument and later as trustees & members of the Chapel of the Four Chaplains. He was a good man and a good treasurer. We will miss him.

On behalf of the Belvidere School District I would like to extend our sympathy and gratitude to Carl's family and friends. His sense of commitment to service and community is a wonderful model for our children. Our Track Project would have never happened without Carl's help. This monumental undertaking became a reality because of his leadership, and his desire to help others. Personally he gave me many fond moments, with his jokes, and great off the wall comments. I will miss you and the community will miss you as well. DS
