You were the best Great Aunt I have ever had. Rest in Peace. With every beat of my heart it will remind me you are still with me. God took the best when he took you. I never got to meet all your family. So to them I am so sorry for your loss. I loved her more then you all know. Please keep in touch with me. And know I am praying that God will hold us tight and get us through this time of her loss, And one day we all will get to see her again.

Oh how I am already missing my Great Aunt Edna. And the only reason I could not come to pay my respects at her services, is because my husband has kidney operation tomorrow morning. And I could not drive 14 hours back in time. I loved her so much. And I come see her every time I come home to visit. I had plans to come with in the next few weeks. To her family members that I never got to meet. Please know how sorry I am for your loss. She never met a stranger. She will always live in Our hearts. I always told her she reminded me of Sophia on the Golden Girls t v show. And when my husband heard her tell me to Stick It one day, the expression on his face was so funny.(He had never met her) And the last time I visited, my best friend came with me. She came back to Tennessee and told everyone. She now knows why I am the way I am, Because she met Aunt Edna and said I got it from my family tree. With every beat of my heart I know my Great Great Aunt will be forever, Rest in Peace Aunt Edna. I will see you again one day in Heaven........

Dear Kathy, Jim, Elo and Johnny, I know this is a very hard time for each one of you as you each had a very special relationship with your mother. I always admired the closeness each of you had with your mom. Oxford has lost another friend. To all who knew Edna, and those who grew up with Edna, who knew her as a neighbor, a friend, and those who shared greetings with her as she walked around the block will miss her as a part of their daily life. With sincere sympathy. Kate Mikolon
