We have fond memories of Harvey. If a man could be the best he could be, Harv was that a hundred times over. He gave his best to everyone. He thought of his family first and everyone else he could. Our children didn't have a Grandpa around and Mr. Hissim stepped right up to be like a Grandfather to them. They called him Pa Pa and Delores Mama Dee. The most wonderful couple you'll ever have the honor and privilege to know. I remember Mr. Hissim getting a smile on his face and he would wink with his blue eyes and holler SALLLLLLLLLLLLLY! Just a fantastic family and great neighbors.

My deepest sympathy to the Hissim family. I have known Harvey for over 43 years. He took me under his wing when I enlisted in the New Jersey National Guard. I remember a lot of good times with Harvey. Driving on the tank trail at Ft Drum New York, dropping him off to do a little fishing after feeding the troops. Taking him out of the field in a jeep to go get a little Ice Cream, just to mention a few. He was a man that took care of people, made them laugh and had fun doing it, along with being a hard worker. He will be sadly missed!

whenever i see an old movie that is about people in a little town, they always show a policeman at the sporting events with his uniform on. i always think of mr. hissim when i see these movies. cause robbie and i played alot of sports together and he was always there in his uniform.god bless all you guys from the cleaver family.
