Obituary of Helen Braxton

Helen M. Haul Braxton 87, of High Bridge NJ formerly of Glen Gardner NJ, died peacefully on Saturday, April 28 with her loving family at her side. Mrs Braxton was born in Sumter SC on August 12, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Marshal and Bertha Dicks Henderson. She was a former member of Mt Pisgah A.M.E. Church in Washington NJ. Her 1st husband James Haul and her second husband James "Slim" Braxton both preceded her in death. Survivors: A loving son James Bruce Haul, a loving daughter Yvonne Sterling and a loving grandson Peter Haul survive her. Services: Funeral Services will be on Tuesday at 1 PM in the DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc. 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ with Rev. Paul Baulknight officiating. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:30 AM until time of services. Interment will follow in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery Hampton NJ.
