Obituary of Frances Smith

Frances Smith, age 84, of Forks Township, PA formerly of Washington NJ, passed peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Care Center of Brakeley Park.  Fran was born February 24, 1935 in Roseto, PA. She is the daughter of the late Angelina (Lucchetti) DeGirolmo and stepdaughter to Stephen Timosko   

A graduate of Washington High School Class of 1953, Frances was a member of the Washington Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and the First Presbyterian Church of Washington. Along with raising her family she worked at Cohen’s Clothing Store in Washington as a sales person. 

She is survived by her beloved husband: Vincent Smith, daughters: April Hendershot (Harvey) of Mt. Bethel, PA; Lee Ann Kubbishun (Stanley) of Easton, PA, son: Vincent Stephen Smith of Point Pleasant, NJ; sister: Jean Gough of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren; Thomas (Ronda), Nicholas (Alicia), Morgan, Sarah, Kayla, Kendall and Harvey Hendershot Jr: great grandchildren, Brittanie (Corey), Thomas and Jordan: great-great grandchildren, Liam and Audrey. Her daughter in law Laura and brother, Leonard predeceased her.

Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Saturday, September 21 from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Washington, 40 East Church Street, Washington, NJ.

Memorial service will be held at 11:30 am at the church withPastor James Scovell officiating.  Inurnment will be private atPequest Union Cemetery.
