Obituary of Leon Dobrowolski
Leon Joseph Dobrowolski, 88, of Clifton, NJ died Sunday in the House Of The Good Shepherd, Hackettstown, NJ. Leon was born, July 5, 1920 in Florida, NY, a son of the late Michael and the late Mary (Bez) Dobrowolski. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a Machinist, employed by RCA, Harrison, NJ for 35 years. He was the husband of the late Ceil Frances (Milewski) Dobrowolski who died in 2004.
Survivors:Leon is survived by two daughters, Barbara and Patrick Burke of Washington, NJ, and Cynthia and Gene Hammond of Ridgefield Park, NJ; two sons, Leon J. Dobrowolski, Jr. of Slate Hill, NY, and David Dobrowolski of Milford, PA; eight grandchildren; a brother, Barney Dobrowolski of New Hampton, NY and a sister Mary Dobrowolski of AZ.
Services: A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:00 pm in St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Florida, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc., 136 W. Washington, Washington NJ 07882.

Bob Schultz Roosevelt School My father was one of Uncle Leo's older brothers, John J Dobrowolski(deceased). Cynthia is my goddaughter. I became her godmother at the ripe old age of 13. I used to live in Nutley, NJ. I now live in Bradenton, Florida. Uncle Leo was one of the nicest people you could meet!
