Obituary of Mary Secula
Mary S. Secula, 90, formerly of Oxford, NJ, died on Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 at Pennybyrn at Maryfield in High Point, NC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Oxford, NJ. Interment will immediately follow in the Church cemetery. Born Feb. 5, 1918 in Orange, NJ, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James E. Secula and parents, John and Elizabeth Socker. She was a graduate of Hackettstown High School, Hackettstown, NJ and Churchmans Business College, Easton, PA.
Survivors:She is survived by her son, James Jr. and his wife, Wendy of Pen Argyl, PA; three daughters, Mary S. Bowman and her husband Terrence of Summerfield, NC, Colonel Monica A. Secula of Washington, D.C., Marcia S. Raines and her husband James of New Market, VA; five grandchildren, Cristin, James III, Elizabeth, Chelsea and Rebecca, her niece, Mary Lou Ribble and nephews, Fredrick Phieffer and Thomas Phieffer. The family would like to thank the staff of Pennybyrn at Maryfield for their loving care shown Mary for the past several years.
