Obituary of Stella Mount

Stella Mount, 98, formerly of Washington NJ passed away on Saturday April 6, 2013 in The Emeritus Assisted living in West Orange, NJ. She was born in Reading PA on October 9, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Ursula (nee Luchinski) Rodis. For many years she was a dress maker in a shop in High Bridge N.J. She had been a member of St John's Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg, NJ. She is predeceased by her loving husband William in 1973. Surviving are her two sons, Gerald B. Mount of Mahwah, NJ, and Ronald J. Mount of Short Hills, NJ, a sister Helen VanEmburg of Inverness, FL, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.. A visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 08, 2013 at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will be celebrated on Tuesday April 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be held at Washington Cemetery, Washington, NJ.
