Obituary of Charles Rhinehart
Charles Stanley Rhinehart, 85, of Washington, NJ, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, December 12, 2008 at home with his family at his side. Charles was born in Washington, NJ, a son of the late David E. and the late Mabel (Trace) Rhinehart. He graduated from Washington HS class of 1941. He served during World War II in the Army from 1942 - 1945. He was a member of the VFW Post 6701 in Washington, the American Legion and the Living Word Fellowship Church, Washington, NJ. Charles and his sweetheart, Connie, celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary in September.
Survivors: Charles is survived by his loving wife, Connie Rhinehart, a daughter, Chris Landsky and her husband Fred of Washington Township, NJ; two sons, Charles Rhinehart and his wife Barbara of Italy and Craig Rhinehart and his wife Deborah of Rochester, NY; a sister, Gladys West of Phillipsburg, NJ; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, two brothers, Frank ""Dick"" Richard Rhinehart and George Rhinehart, and a sister, Mabel Sadlon all died earlier.
Services: A funeral will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at Living Word Fellowship, 51 N. Lincoln Ave., Washington. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service in Hillside Cemetery, Oxford
