Obituary of Iola Cornine

Iola C. Cornine, 93 formerly of Bangor, PA passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, PA. Iola was born on Jul 18, 1918 in Stewartsville, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Howard and Louise ( nee Cole) Davis. Iola was very hardworking and a farmer’s wife. She was family oriented and organized family reunions. She is predeceased by her loving husband; Cleveland Cornine in 1979. She is survived by two daughters; Virginia Roberts of Beulaville, NC and Elaine Parry of Brodheadsville, PA, a sister; Louise Eldredge of Effort, PA five grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also predeceased by two brothers; William and Herbert Davis and two sisters; Anna Graffin and Eva Frace, and two grandsons; Russell Parry and Mark Roberts. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 9-11a.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. Burial will follow at the Stewartsville Presbyterian Cemetery, Stewartsville, NJ.
