Obituary of Harold Cramer
Harold J. (Butch) Cramer , 74 of Washington, NJ passed away on April 17, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Stroudsburg, Pa. and lived his entire life in Washington, N.J.
Harold was employed as an Union Roofer with Northern Roofing in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was an avid outdoorsman and coin and currency collector.
Harold was a very caring person who touched everyone's heart. He was affectionately known as "Pop" to everyone.
He is survived by his beloved wife,Loretta (Dolly) nee Blanch, three daughters, Linda Gail, deceased, Fay Schwartz and husband Wayne, Mickey Metroke and husband Kevin, a brother, Arthur Cramer Jr. and wife Eleanor and sister Winona (Noni) Thompson,seven grandchildren, Mike Best and Carrie, Charlie Best, Mike LaBar, Rick LaBar and Lisa, Alyson Vrontisis, Sarah Metroke and Jennifer Schwartz, eleven great grandchildren, Jared and Myla Best, Destany, Tyler and Hailey LaBar, Timothy and Ethan Vrontisis, Nathan Schwartz, Spencer, Quintyn and Cody Best, many nieces and nephews including Laurie Kennedy and husband Timothy. Laurie was a fourth daughter that he loved dearly. She was a major part in his caregiving. Butch was predeceased by his mother and father, Arlene and Marty Hughes, daughter, Linda Gail Best, three sisters, Elsie, Arlene and Donna, two nephews, Victor and Michael Capone and niece Beth Rundle.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc.,136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will follow immediately.
