Obituary of Carole Ann Fishburn
Carole Ann Fishburn 81 of Washington NJ was reunited with her beloved husband Bud on Wednesday June 13th at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Pottsville PA on October 6, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Thorne V. and Emma (Kopp) Beaumont.
Carole had worked as a Library Assistant at the Washington Borough Public Library in Washington NJ for seven years prior to her retirement April 1998.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, Stewart Chapter #166 in High Bridge NJ.; Allentown Shrine #27 Order of White Shrine.; The Hampton Womans Club,; The Hampton PTA,; a girl scout leader and the Recreation Association all in Hampton NJ. Carole was an active member of the Spruce Run Lutheran Church on Hill Road in Glen Gardener NJ. She was a Sunday School Teacher, A Bible School teacher and a member of the Womans ELCA of the church.
Her loving husband Addison “Bud” Fishburn preceded her in death in 1988.
Surviving are her sons Galen C Fishburn and his wife Cynthia of Mariaville Maine, Michael J Fishburn and his wife Rhonda of Satsuma Florida, two daughters; Arlys Mae Kuehn and her husband Albert of Washington NJ and Denise A Fishburn with whom she resided of Washington NJ, a brother Alvin Fischer of Allentown PA, nine grandchildren, Sandra Danzler and her husband Jason, Bryan Rauf and his wife Sarah, Amber Lynn Fernandez and her husband Anthony, Brandon Fishburn and his wife Stephanie, Jason Fishburn and his wife Tiffany, Dane Fishburn and his fiancee Jessica, Zachary Fishburn and his girlfriend Ashlyn, Tanner Fishburn and Makayla Fishburn, Twelve great grandchildren; Autumn Vance, Shawn Scudder, Aryanna Fernandez, Tianna Rauf, Darien Rodriguez, Isabella Rauf, Adelyn Fernandez, Sophia Fishburn, Jeremiah Dantzler, Scarlet Rauf, Addison Fishburn and Charles Fishburn, with one baby Fishburn on the way.
She is predeceased by two sisters Merle Beaumont and Arlys Fischer.
There will be visitation on Monday June 18th from 5-8PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. And on Tuesday June 19th from 10:30-11:30 AM in the Spruce Run Lutheran Church 442 West Hill Road Glen Gardner NJ. Funeral Services will be at 12PM (Noon) in the Spruce Run Lutheran Church followed by interment in the Spruce Run Cemetery.
