Aunt Doll was so very special to me. I remember when she would visit my parents during her college breaks at Virginia State University. She would help me with my homework. She was so smart. She helped me learn my prayers and instilled in me love for the Lord. When my family moved from Flushing to Corona, she went with my Mom to register me for school. I was a shy child in first grade. She encouraged me to be independent. I could do it she said. She gave me confidence. She was so supportive. She called me "Bootsie", a name I was called for years. She instilled in me self-esteem. As a young woman I would often turn to her for advice. She always listened, and her advise was so helpful. She always said "you can make it". She was my role model. I idolized her. My husband Tommy loved her too. We both loved coming to "little Washington" to spend time. She enjoyed entertaining. Tommy and I are devastated that we cannot be there. Aunt Doll we love you. Rest in Peace. Katherine and Tommy

I remember Aunt Doll during summer vacation. Annie, Sparkle and I would come up to the Jackson plantation for a week or two. I have many memories of all my visits: helping feeding chickens and pigs, picking fruits for momma to can and make applesauce and jellies, clambakes, friends and family fun, swimming in the river and even being afraid of the outhouse at night. What I remember the most is a strong intelligent woman, a caring mom, aunt and wife. 12 siblings living in different places but they all loved and stayed in touch with one another. Only one left, Flutty. They have left a legacy of sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, grand, great- grandchildren and cousins. God bless you Aunt Doll, may you rest in peace!

Past Master Jackson and Family Though today you walk in sorrow, you will not be alone. There is One whose loving wisdom, is far greater than our own. Put your trusting hand in His as a little child would do, and He like a loving father will guide and comfort you! Day by day, there will come to you, New faith, new hope, new light. You'll find that stars unseen by day shine through the darkest night. And though your heart is longing, For the dear one who's at rest, You'll know before the journey's end that God's dear ways are best. Praying that God will Continue To Bless and Comfort You and Your Family during these difficult days. Charles E. Johnson – Past Master, Tyrian Lodge No.34 Morristown, NJ

To the Family of Lt. (Dynomite) Jackson:
Lt. Jackson was a tiny lady with a big heart and you could always count on her words to be honest. Momma didn't take no mess! I know there are no words at this difficult time that can heal your hearts with such a profound loss as this. Be assured that with God her joy is sealed, not even death can take. Cherish her memories and lift up a smile and know that she is already in paradise. With my heart heartfelt condolences.
