Obituary of Stephen Secula
Stephen James Secula, 95, of Washington, NJ, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 in the Care Center Of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Stephen was born on August 11, 1913 in Oxford, NJ, a son of the late John and the late Agnes (Krisik) Secula. Stephen graduated from Hackettstown High School, Hackettstown, NJ. He proudly served during World War II in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945. He was an avid New York Yankees fan. He was a carpenter and craftsman employed by Jack Preston Company of Middletown, NJ. Survivors: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters and six brothers. Stephen is survived by several nephews and nieces.
Services: A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 pm at St Rose Of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Academy St., Oxford, NJ.

Tributes: Tribute from: Barbara Rose At the library, we thought of Steve sort of like the "wonderful One-Horse Shay"--he seemed to go full steam ahead regardless of his age, and his faculties remained sharp.
He was always alert and full of questions, and we realized last week that we had not seen him for a while. He will be missed.
