Obituary of Ethel "Sis" A Toretta

Ethel A. "Sis" Toretta, 86 of Asbury NJ died Wednesday November 7, 2018 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Twp NJ.

She was born July 7, 1932 in New Village NJ, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Adaline Morley Markle.

Ethel had been employed by American Can in Washington NJ before retiring almost 20 years ago. She loved taking trips to Atlantic City, the Poconos and Las Vegas NV.

Her loving husband Louis “Stretch” Toretta preceded her in death in 1989.

She is survived by son, James Toretta of Washington NJ, brother; Douglas Markle of Glen Gardner NJ, two sisters; Veronica Mullikin of Washington NJ and Patricia Markle of Washington NJ. A daughter Debbie Toretta preceded her in death im 1955.

Funeral Services will be Monday November 12, 2018 at 11AM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ. The Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8PM in the funeral Home. Interment will be in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Washington NJ.
