Marge and I spent many years in ministry together. We worked in the Food Pantry, served at the Community Luncheons, were members of St. Joseph's Outreach Ministry and were paired up to take the Eucharist to the homebound. Anyone who knows Marge, knows that time spent with her is never dull, so needless to say our time together evolved into a great, lasting friendship. I went to see her not long ago and her spirit and sense of humor were the same as they had always been. She was one special lady! To her family- my deepest sympathies. I know you will miss your mom but she is in the arms of her Savior, a long awaited promise for her...fulfilled! And though nothing on this earth meant more to her than all of you, I can't even imagine the reunion that awaited her with your dad and so many family and friends that went before her. We used to kid how heaven would never be the same once she got there. I imagine there's some truth to that! Marge, my friend...you added a flavor to this world that no one can ever copy. Your sense of humor, your zest for life and your ability to tell it like it is...will remain with all of us. But mostly, your desire and determination to walk faithfully in Christ, no matter what this life handed you, will be the example by which so many others will find their way. Love you dear friend, until we meet again!
