Obituary of Patricia Dinger
Patricia J Dinger, 64, of Palmer Township, PA (formerly of Washington, NJ) passed away peacefully surrounded by family and dear friends after a courageous and inspirational battle with a rare blood disorder on Thursday, September 13th 2007, in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born October 23rd 1942 in Morristown, NJ she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Kowal) Kowalick. She and her husband Bob were married for 43 years.
Pat graduated from Hackettstown High School in 1960, and in 1983 from Morris County Community College with the highest honors. Upon her graduation, Pat was awarded the Albert J. Kahn Award for outstanding academic excellence.
She was formerly employed by the Mountainview Correctional Facility in the classification department, and most recently by the New Jersey State Parole Board, having retired in 2004.
She was an avid gardener who loved travel, interior design, the fine arts and relaxing with the perfect cup of tea. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors:
In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by daughters Elizabeth C. Dinger of Colonial Heights, VA and Tricia A. Haynes and her husband William of Fort Rucker, AL; two beloved grandsons Jake Haynes and Thomas Schramm. Pat also leaves behind her Mother Catherine Kowalick, of Great Meadows, NJ and two sisters Georgette Ritter and Kathy Demarky both of Hackettstown, NJ.
Services: Mass will be celebrated at 1PM on Tuesday September 18 in St Marys Episcopal Church 408 3rd Street Belvidere NJ 07823. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday evening 7-9 PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. Interment will follow Services in the Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere NJ
