Obituary of Irma Shive

Irma L. Shive 90, of formerly of Washington and Asbury NJ, died Thursday March 5 2009 in The Cedar Brook Nursing Home, Allentown PA. She was born in Detroit Mi. Sept 1, 1918, She was the daughter of the late Soren Louise Westerguard Jenson She was employed as a packer for the American Can Company in Washington NJ. She has also worked as a Hair dresser for many years. She grew up in Washington NJ. She was always very friendly and enjoyed dancing and singing. Survivors:Irma is survived by her daughter Penny Mast of Whitehall Pa, 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Russell in 2003, a son Gregory in 2000, two brothers Creston and Stanley, and 3 sisters, Gladys Jenson, Pearl Unterbauer and Florence Sinkbeil. Services: Funeral Services will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ with Rev Jerry Scott officiating. Family will greet friends from 9am until time of services on Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment to follow in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery Hampton NJ.
