Obituary of Eugene Mury
Eugene Scott Mury, 41, died of natural causes on Thursday, December 25, in his apartment in Natick, MA. Eugene was born September 23, 1967 in Newark, NJ, a son of John N. Mury and Lucia Myungja Lee. Eugene graduated from Morristown High in 1985 and went on to earn a BA in electronics from Lincoln Technical Institute. Eugene had a 20+ year career with Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, where his colleagues were very fond of him. Eugene loved auto mechanics, technology, photography, movies, TiVo, and riding anything on two wheels! Eugene was known by all for his kind and giving heart.
Survivors:He is survived by his parents, Lucia Lee of East Hanover, NJ; and John N. Mury, of Washington, NJ; two brothers, Sean Mury of Blacksburg, Virginia; and John L. and his wife Aimee Mury of Natick, MA; a nephew, Xander, and two nieces, Jasmine and Eliza, all of Natick, MA. Eugene was one of the kindest, most gentle, loving souls. He will be missed by many.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:30 am 12:00 pm in DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc., 136 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. A memorial service will be held on Friday at the funeral home. Interment of the ashes will follow the service at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Alliance of Metrowest, P.O. Box 2118, Natick, MA 01760 (autismalliance.org). Uncle Gene had a special place in his heart for Eliza, 4, who has autism. A memorial service will also be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
