Obituary of BettyLou Baldwin
BettyLou Baldwin, 75, of Oxford NJ, died Monday January 12, 2016 in St Lukes Hospital. Fountain Hill PA.
She was born in Queens NY, May 21, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Louisa Nagora Martin.
She was a 1958 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School.
BettyLou’s last was in the Shipping and Receiving department at Taylor Forge Steel.
She has also tended bar at the former Washington House, The Oxford Fire House and the Hackettstown Moose Hall.
BettyLou was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Oxford Fire Department and a Life Member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Washington VFW Post 6701 of Washington NJ. She loved spending time working in her yard and was an avid John Wayne fan.
Her loving husband Lewis Baldwin passed away in 1998.
She is survived by her step son Lewis Baldwin Jr of Palmer Twp, Step daughter Sherry Baldwin of Easton PA, Step daughter Terri Baldwin of Harmony NJ, a step granddaughter Lisa Strahammer and two step great grandchildren Haley and Nicholas Swanson.
Funeral Services will be Saturday January 16, 2016 at Noon in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ. Visitation will be Saturday from 10AM until time of service in the funeral home. Interment in the Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows NJ.
