Obituary of Helen Glenda Alexis

Helen Glenda Alexis 62 of Washington NJ died on May 18th at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp. NJ

She was born on May 1, 1956 to Harrison and Umilta Alexis at San-Fernando General Hospital in Trinidad.

Helen was educated at San-Fernando S.D.A. and Picton Preparation School where she was an excellent student. She migrated to the USA and furthered her studies at Upsala College. She perused nursing and worked for various hospitals in NJ, Graystone, Hunterdon Medical Center and Summit Hospital to name a few. She later worked in the insurance industry where she was employed by Unique Brokerage.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her two sons, USMC Corporal Jared Quincy Alexis and Andrew Alexis and her dog Connie. Her siblings Felix Alexis, Brenda Alexis Edwards and her husband Eric, Hugh Alexis, Allison Alexis, Andrea Joseph, Adrian Joseph, Lisa Cadette and Victor Alexis; Aunts Shirley, Shelia and a host of others, Uncles, Michael Joseph and a host of others; nieces Larissa Richardson, Tammy Alexis and a host of others; Nephews Hayden Dick, Roger Alexis, Eddison Richardson and a host of others. Timi and Susan Adetula and a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday May 23, at 11:30AM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. Burial will follow.
