My name is Mildred Nelson and I knew Mae when I was a child. She and my mother, Sarah, were so close. They weren't just friends but cousins also. Mae's mother, Mary Hoffman Hiner was my grandmother's sister, Amanda Hoffman Collins. I have loads of family history on the Hoffman side of our family back to the early 1700s. I would be so pleased to share what I have.
