Obituary of Shirley L Werkheiser

Shirley L “Gracie” Werkheiser 79 of Washington NJ died on Friday March 23, 2018 in the Care Center of Phillipsburg, Phillipsburg NJ

She was born in Asbury NJ, October 23, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Douglas and Sadie Deemer Magurie.

Gracie enjoyed playing bingo, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always loved helping others in need.

Her husband Richard preceded her in death in 1998.

Surviving are her sons Richard of Asbury NJ, Russell of Asbury NJ, Ricky of Phillipsburg NJ, Ronald of Phillipsburg NJ, and Randy of Washington NJ; a daughter Peggy Sue Todd of Phillipsburg NJ; brothers, Arthur, Robert and Richard all of Asbury NJ.; Eighteen grandchildren and Twenty nine great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Geraldine Peters, Betty Jane Pfeiffer, Joann Kinney and Nancy Goerner.

Visitation will be on Wednesday March 28th, 2018 at 10-11:30AM followed by a funeral Service at 11:30 AM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. The burial will follow in the Asbury Methodist Cemetery, Main Street Asbury NJ
