Obituary of Margaret Peploe

Margaret Mae Peploe, 89, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 28, 2009 surrounded by her family in the Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. She will be greeted in heaven by her husband, George and her daughter, Joan. Margaret was born on April 15, 1920 in Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Simon and Maude Craigle Witner and Aaron Keiper her stepfather. She was the husband of the late George who passed away in 2003. They had been married for 65 years. Margaret was a longtime resident of Washington, NJ. She was a housewife who enjoyed camping, traveling, completing puzzles, playing cards and most importantly spending time with her family. Margaret is survived by three daughters, Jean Janette of Washington, NJ, Diane Siedt and her husband Dave of Bangor, PA, Lisa Blazure and her husband Roxie of Basking Ridge, NJ; a son-in-law, James Bodine and his wife Karen of Bangor, PA; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by her daughter, Joan, a son-in-law, John Janette, two brothers and two sisters. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:00 am at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Internment will follow in Somerset Hills Cemetery, Basking Ridge NJ.
