Obituary of Ann Hervanek
Ann Hervanek 90 of Oxford NJ died Tuesday December 24th in Warren Haven Nursing Home. She was born in Bethlehem PA November 8, 1923. Ann was the daughter of the late George and Mary Subjucsek Kohonitch of Oxford, NJ.
She graduated from the Registered Nursing Program at Middlesex College in N.J.
Ann worked for 25 years at Mount Kipp Center for Geriatrics in Glenn Gardner, NJ, retiring as a Nursing Supervisor.
Ann was a lifelong resident of her beloved Oxford, and an active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Oxford.
Ann loved cooking and making wonderful holiday celebrations for her family - her eggnogg was legendary.
She was an avide traveler visiting all across the United States and enjoyed two trips to Europe.
Surviving Ann is her loving husband of 50 yrs., Joseph of Oxford NJ.
Also surviving is her daughter Joann Hervanek (Parrick) of Bradford, PA,
Phillip Zulauf of Martins Creek, PA, George Zulauf of Crystal River, FL,
and Janice Raccoosin (Zulauf) of Easley, SC., Grandson Arpad Hervanek of Pittsburgh, PA, Rachel Lower (Zulauf) of Macungie, PA, Jodie Dixon of
Arizona, and Jeff Mackenzie of Arizona.
She was predeceased her daughter Cynthia Zulauf who died in 1965, and her son Phil who passed 1941and by 6 sisters and 2 brothers whom she remained close with her whole life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday December 28th 2013 at 1PM in the St Rose Of Lima Catholic Church Academy Street Oxford NJ.
