Obituary of Phyllis Antz
Phyllis H. Antz, 77, of the Cornish section of White Township, NJ, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ. She was the widow of the late Norman B. Antz who passed in 2008.
Phyllis was born on November 27, 1933 in Asbury, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and Helen ( nee Miller) Keiper.
She was a devoted and loving mother and homemaker. She loved to garden and diligently maintained her beautiful rock gardens which she was so proud of. She was an avid book reader and loved animals and nature. She also enjoyed western movies, especially ones featuring John Wayne; Bonanza; The Price is Right; auto racing and auctions; antiques; and was a long time follower of The Young and The Restless.
She is survived by two sons, Tracy Antz of White Township, NJ, and Kenneth Macomber and his wife Lillian of Sebastian, FL; an aunt, Helen Miller of Pen Argyl, PA; sister, Shelley Tampier and husband Bill of Hampton, NJ; niece, Danielle Bess and husband Michael of Phillipsburg, NJ; nephew, Colby Tampier and wife Colleen, daughter Chloe of Bath, Pa; niece, Michelle Bolanowski, husband Paul, daughter Casey, son Oliver of Flemington, NJ; cherished pets, aka The Kids, dog, Blondie and cat, Middy; Harry, Barry, Mark Smith and families of the Phillipsburg area, and Richard Keiper of CA.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882 has been entrusted with her arrangements.
