Obituary of Betty Jane Schoonmaker Danko

Betty Jane Schoonmaker Danko 89 0f Livingston NJ formerly of Washington NJ died at her home on Thursday February 14 2019.

She was born in Phillipsburg NJ October 21, 1929 to the late Samuel and Bessie Smith Seguine.

Betty Jane was a secretary for the former law offices of Stover and Stover in Washington NJ. Over the past several years she worked as a Evengelist for Seventh Day Adventist Churches . She was also involved with the Listen Magazine.

She was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School. She loved playing piano. She was very active in the Phillipsburg Seven Day adventist Church.

Her first husband Lee Schoonmaker died in 1992 after over 40 years of marriage. She then married Nicholas Danko in 1996 and was married over 18 years until his passing in 2016.

She is survived by a son Kerry of Darnestown Md, a daughter Debbie Wilson of Washington NJ, five brothers; Kenneth Huff, Philp Huff, Thomas Huff, Larry Kish and Douglas Kish, sisters; Sarah Pursell and Carol Kish, Five grandchildren Thomas Wilson, Cory Wilson, Michael Wilson, Brian Schoonmaker and Bruce Schoonmaker and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Scott, brothers, Jim, Sam, Donald, and Raymond and a sister Nancy,

Funeral Services will be celebrated 11AM Sunday February 17 2019 in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. Visitation will be 10-11AM on Sunday in the funeral home. Interment to follow in the Stewartsville Presbyterian Cemetery. Stewartsville NJ
