Obituary of Evelyn Snyder

Evelyn A. Snyder 94 of Memphis Tenn., formerly of Washington NJ died Sunday July 25th. She was born in Washington Twp. Warren County on July 7, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Stella Brink Westervelt. A homemaker for the past 20 years, she had worked for Consumers Research in Washington for many years. Evelyn was a 1934 graduate of Washington High School. Prior to her death, she had been the second oldest living member (78 years) of the Port Colden Methodist Church in Port Colden NJ. Her loving husband, Sterling, preceded her in death in 1977. She is survived by a son Barry Snyder of North Chelmsford Mass, a daughter Barbara Pulsinelli of Memphis Tenn., 3 grandchildren and two great grand children. A brother Albert Westervelt died earlier. A time of visitation will be Thursday, July 29th, from 6:30pm to 8pm, in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ.
