You and I were walking the hall, as we always did. Our music was playing and the song "Happy" came on. I noticed a little bounce in your step as you were rocking and rolling down the hallway. As soon as the song stopped, so did you and you started complaining. I bent down and said"come on Bean, move those legs, and you looked me right in the eyes and said "HAPPA". I could not believe what I had just heard! I asked if you wanted the Happy song on again and you got all excited. I turned it on and you went along your merry way. I of course was beside myself and was telling anyone who would listen what had just happened! You said it several times after that day.....in front of witnesses. Be "HAPPA" my girl. I love you.

Jessica, JanPaul and Angelina’s family, Please accept our deep and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. We cannot even begin to imagine your loss or sorrow. We hope that your fond memories of Angelina help you through these very difficult times. Our daughter, Emma, spent several years with Angelina under the care of Ms. Nicole, Ms. Tina, Ms. Laurie and others. Every time we visited the classroom or went on a field trip, it was evident how much they all cared and loved Angelina. She touched so many hearts. She was a wonderful friend to Emma - they were often holding hands, being silly or just enjoying classroom life and we know Emma already does and will greatly miss her. Angelina was strong and determined and you can see how hard she worked to do things that so many other people take for granted. My fondest memory of Angelina is when Laurie Berkner visited the school to sing. Angelina was dancing and rocking out in her gait trainer and was so joyful to see her loving the singing and music! Another favorite memory was at the Adventure Aquarium when Ms. Tina and Ms. Nicole wanted to make sure she had a chance to see and touch a ray in the water. They were all smiling and giggling at the experience. We hope it gives you some comfort to know that your daughter touched so many people lives and made the world a better place to those that had the privilege to know her. Jessica, my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family, I cannot imagine the loss you are feeling; I am here for you always. Angelina was my missing piece. I lovingly referred to her as "Bean" and when she came into my life 4 years ago I knew I was in trouble. I was fascinated by this beautiful child and all her potential. Through the years, I have worked with many children...but I fell in love with one. Through Angelina I learned that love, unconditional love,was the secret. Together we learned how to walk, communicate, sing, dance and play. She depended on me and I depended on her to get through each and every day. I have told people that when my time with Angelina had run its course I would be moving on...she was my swan song. There will never be another Angelina; she was strong, brave, beautiful, funny and smart...I told her this everyday. If I close my eyes I see her running through a field without her braces, in her bare feet, with her face up to the sun and she is laughing...I will miss your laugh Angelina and the way you looked at me with your beautiful smile. We will see each other again someday and in the meantime teach those angels how to sing...Don't worry about a thing,'cause every little things gone be alright....I will love forever My girly girl.
