Obituary of Gerhard Schwedes

Gerhard Schwedes, 76 years old, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Ruleme Center, Eustis, FL. Mr. Schwedes was formerly of Clinton he moved to Tavares, FL 35 years ago. Gerhard was born on May 17, 1931 in Union, NJ, a son of the late Adolf and the late Marie (Mock) Schwedes. He was employed as a butcher. Gerhard was a member of the Host Lodge #6 in High Bridge, NJ. He served as the Master of the Stewart Lodge in Clinton in 1964. Survivors: Gerhard is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gail Williams-Schwedes of Tavares, FL; a daughter, Lynda Ott of Lakeland, FL and three grandchildren, Paul, Theresa and Elizabeth. He will also be missed by his beloved dog Molly. Services: Friends may call Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 11:00 am at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc. Interment will be Saturday at 12:00 pm in Hazen Cemetery, White Township, NJ.
