Like many of us, sometimes as we grow older we grow apart from certain things. It had been years since me and Joe played golf or even exchanged conversation. But when I had seen him again, it was as if he hadn't missed a beat. Now married with a stable job. He flashed me that same great smile he used to flash when I would hit an awesome golf shot at Gull Haven Golf Club. Back then, Joe used to take me out there once a week. Along with my Dad and Uncle Mike, Joe was always a round to play a round. Gull Haven was a little nine hole golf course, and Joe knew a lot of the old timers there. Whenever I would show up there with Joe, him and the guys always made me feel real special. No matter what, he always paid, even if my Mom did give me money. We would pay for nine holes but alot of times we played eighteen. It was only a nine hole course but it didn't matter...it was golf...And to Joe...that was good enough. Thank You Joe and I miss you!
