Obituary of Marion Deemer

Marion “Dudge” C. Deemer, age 83, of Washington, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Warren Haven Nursing Home of Oxford, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of Asbury and Washington, NJ. Marion was born January 23, 1926 in Asbury, NJ a daughter of the late William and the late Mary Deemer. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Asbury, NJ and an avid bingo player. She is survived by her companion, Enrique “Harry” Rivera; two daughters, Anna Letsak of Belvidere, NJ and Rose Ryno and her husband Richard of FL; a brother, Raymond “Booge”;six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marion is predeceased by her sisters, Sadie “Bump” Maguire, Helen “Sis” Peters, Patricia Fucci, Mable Rex, Rose “Jim” Huff, Elizabeth “John” Colucci and Minnie McGough and brothers Nelson, George “Doe”, William “Cook”, Frank and Joseph “Tre”. A private cremation was held. Arrangements were entrusted to DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington NJ 07882.
