Obituary of John J Golini
John J. Golini, 86, of Washington, NJ passed away on February 1, 2016 at Warren Hospital. John was born on June 24, 1929 in New Village, NJ to the late Vincenzo and Maria Golini. He served in the US Army and was employed by Hoffman LaRoche as a Fork Lift Operator. John was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church where he was very active. He served as a Third Degree Knight of Columbus. He was also an usher and trustee of the parish. He was a member of the United Valley Gun Club. He was a member of the 1945 Washington High School undefeated football team. John loved to hunt, fish and bowl. He is survived by his wife of sixty three years, the former Florence Huff of Washington, NJ; nephews Vernon Golini and his wife Diana, Daniel Gulini, David Gulini, Larry Pambianchi and niece Debbie Saunders. He was predeceased by his daughter Donna in 1996; brothers Antonio Golini and Mario Gulini; sister Lena Pambianchi. Visitation Friday, February 5, 2016 from 10-11 am at DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ. A funeral will follow at 11 am also at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Sts. Philip and James Cemetery in Phillipsburg, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 or the Washington Emergency Squad, 100 Belvidere, Ave., Washington, NJ.
