Obituary of Dawn Warner
Dawn M. Warner of Bethlehem passed away on Thursday, January 10 2019 at home. Born in Easton, PA she was the daughter of the late Irene Mooney, the stepdaughter of the late Francis Mooney and the daughter of the late Michler Warner. She is survived by her sister, Deidre Simmons (wife of William Simmons) and their three daughters; Caitlin Findlay (wife of Brian Findlay), Abigail and Samantha Simmons; step brother James Mooney (husband of Diane Mooney) and his children; Kristen and Eric; Mary Haas (wife of Gary Hass) and their daughter Erin; and half-brother Mick Warner.
Dawn was a 1971 graduate of Warren Hills Regional High School, Washington, New Jersey and attended the former Glassboro State College in Glassboro New Jersey. She worked for many years in Real Estate in Bethlehem, PA. For a time, after her fraternal grandfather passed away, she was the owner of Alph’s Pharmacy in Wilson Borough, PA.
Dawn was a lover of music and played the piano, trumpet, baritone and guitar. She was the Drum Major of the Warren Hills Marching Band. In high school she formed an all-girl rock band and played many venues in Washington and Belvedere, PA.
Internment will be private. At her request no formal funeral is planned. Due to impending storm on Saturday January 19, the luncheon memorial service has been postponed.
