Obituary of Edwin Curtis Jennings

Edwin Curtis Jennings, age 73, of Washington, NJ died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at surrounded by his family. Edwin was born November 9, 1945 in Budd Lake, NJ. He married Sandra Relyea Jennings over thirty years ago.

He founds his passion for cooking while serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Ed worked in many restaurant kitchens during his career.

Ed was hard working family man that enjoyed going to yard sales, cooking for his family and playing with his dogs.

He is survived by his wife of thirty years: Sandra (Relyea) Jennings; son, William Jennings; daughters, Christina Wright and Beverly Jennings; step daughters and son, Dawn Burrell (John), Autumn Hart and Howard Hart; brothers, Leroy, Jack, and Donald Jennings. Also surviving are his five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. His brother Robert predeceased him.

Relatives and friends may gather on Monday, March 4 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Tuesday, March 5 from 10:30 - 11:00 am at DeVoe Funeral Service, 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 5 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton.
