Obituary of Della Gardner
Della M. Gardner, 105, of Port Murray, NJ died Sunday, September 12 at Warren Hospital.
She was born in Port Murray, NJ November 10, 1904. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Ida Thomas Mayberry. She was one of Warren County oldest residants.
Mrs. Gardner had worked at Percision Magnetic in Hackettstown NJ. She previously worked for Bergen Toy in Hackettstown and Pohatcong Hosery in Washington NJ.
She was a faithful member of the Mansfield Baptist Church in Port Murray.
Her husband Harry F. Gardner preceeded her in death in 1976. She is survived by a son Darwin of Port Murray, a daughter Joyce Burk of Broadwy NJ, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A son Jay Gardner, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and a grandson died earlier.
Funeral Services will be 11am Wednesday September 15th in the Abundent Life Church (the former Mansfield Baptist Church) 21 Cherry Tree Bend Road, Port Murray NJ. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to service. (10-11am) Interment in the Port Murray Cemetery.
