Obituary of Stanley J Smolenski
Stanley J. Smolenski 93 of Washington NJ died on February 23 at his home.
He was born in Oxford NJ February 7, 1926. He was the son of the late Stanley and Theofila Poremba Smolenski.
Stanley worked in the Maintenance department at Tenico Chemical Plant in Flemington NJ.
He served in the US Army during World War II.
Stanley belonged to the Phillipsburg Pistol Club. He was know to many as "Mr Fix it"
His wife the late Eleanor Christine Smolenski preceded him in death is 2000.
Surviving is his daughter Karen and her husband Jim Stull of Washington Twp NJ, a brother Chester of Oxford NJ, grandchildren James, Lynn, Jon, Jeremy and Joshua and 10 great grandchildren.
Five brothers, Peter, Ben, Joseph, Felix and Alex and four sisters Anna Esposito, Helen Ritzer, Stella Coleman, and Sofie Kopaz preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated Friday March 15 ar 11AM in the Faith Discovery Church, Brass Castle Road, Washington NJ. The Service will be prodcast live at www.faithdiscovery.com for those who cannot attend.
