Obituary of Virginia Kiley
Virginia G. Kiley, 77, of Hampton, NJ passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. She was born on October 7, 1930 in High Bridge, NJ a daughter of the late George and the late Anna (Todd) Ganley. Before the Emergency 911 system was implemented, families in Hampton in need of assistance would get the Kiley household who in turn would run down and blow the siren. She as honorary life-time member of the Hampton Fire and Emergency Squad. Virginia enjoyed watching NASCAR races in particular, Jeff Gordon. She loved bingo and cooking, but mostly loved spending time with her family. Virginia was predeceased by her brothers, George and James Ganley.
Survivors: Virginia is survived by her loving husband, John Kiley of Hampton; five sons, John F Kiley of Hampton, NJ; George Kiley and his wife Gwen of Buchanan, GA; James Kiley and his wife Darlene of Hampton, NJ; William Kiley of Hampton, NJ; and Edward Kiley and his wife Tracey of Washington Township, NJ; five daughters, Jean Velard and her husband James of Nampa, ID; Judy Smith and her husband Brian of Lebanon Twp., NJ; Alice Bullock and her husband Thomas of Washington, NJ, Arlene Kiley of Flemington, NJ and Ann Marie Felter and Eric, Sr. of Hampton, NJ; twenty-two grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services: Friends and family are invited to call on the family on June 1, 2008 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 p at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington. Private interment will be at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. Online condolences may be expressed at www.devoefuneral.com.
