Obituary of Dorothy Weaver

Dorothy Weaver, 65 of Lopatcong Twp. NJ, died on Saturday, January 19 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp. NJ.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 23, 1953. She was the daughter of the late George and Nora (Fay) Ferguson.

Dorothy was in retail for many years but spent the last decade of her life as “Granny Nanny” to all of her beloved grandchildren.

Dorothy enjoyed playing cards and beating the pants off of her opponents. She loved spending time at the farm and fishing with her best friend Michelle Janssen of Bangor, PA.

Her loving husband Robert E. Weaver, Jr. preceded her in death in 2004.

Surviving are her daughters: Christine Pi (Kevin) of Port Murray, NJ, Carolyn Carvino of Bloomsbury NJ, and Jennifer Menz (Robert) of Holland Twp. NJ; a son Thomas Weaver of Holland Twp. NJ; a stepson Brian Weaver (Katrina) of Bath, PA; brothers William and George, sisters Noreen Schneider and Maryann O’Brien; grandchildren: Aiden, Benjamin, Liam, Nora, Emma, Mackenzie, Molly, and Maddox; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, a brother Michael and sisters Catherine Kelly and Helen Garrity preceded her in death.
