Marie was like a second Mother to me when my parents passed. We worked side-by-side in the girls ministry at FDC. She was always willing to attend our extra activities, like the Annual Sleepover, Mothers Day Tea, and Powette Camp weekends. She was so kind and loving to all and always had a smile on her face. She spent many Thanksgiving dinners with my family and watched intently as the traditional flag football game was played in the afternoon. The family was very competitive and Marie was so worried that someone would get hurt. She would thank the Lord for protecting everyone before we ate. Although the Marie we all knew and loved was not really with us for the past several years, the memories she left us will last a lifetime. It is comforting to know she is at peace now and with her Savior. I love you Marie! ❤️❤️❤️
