I've known Floyd for around 35 years and in that time no matter what he was going through he always had a great attitude. He never had a "woe is me moment". He was always up beat and ready to help anyone. Anyone including me that met him knows that the world was a better place with Floyd in it. They say that you are in a better place and I know that you are. but the rest of us are going to miss you

Floyd was the best neighbor I could have hoped for. He welcomed me not only to the neighborhood, but also into his loving family. He was always happy to help out with anything I needed. In one of his last text messages he wrote: “You can always count on me unless I’m broken”. That’s the truth! Floyd was always there for everyone for as long as his body allowed him. I would say Rest in Peace…but I doubt Floyd could ever sit still. I’m sure he’s keeping busy and working on multiple projects simultaneously, wherever he is. Floyd, I will miss you terribly, and I wish life had been kinder to you.
