I pray that God will bring you peace and comfort you.To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of The Lord. One day we will see her again! She was always smiling and laughing and that always started my day off right. She would brighten our days with her announcements . A number of us would stop and chat when we got to work while Kathy finished curling her hair and putting on her make up as she cheerfully answered the phone and greeted us. She was so kind and genuine. It’s sad that after we retire from HDC we lose track of OUR HDC FAMILY because that’s what we were.Life had many challenges that she faced head on and with a smile on her face. She left s big empty space behind and she will be missed by so many; but she lived life to the fullest and left us all some really special memories which we cherish and hold her close in our hearts.I am so sorry I cannot make it on Wednesday I will be having some medical test at that time. Thanks for the memories Kathy ,until we meet again and then we will all be together for eternity in heaven.Janice Devers Allen RNHN retired.

I can't express the emptiness we all feel now that our sweet Kathy has passed. You see Kathy wasn't just any kind of girl she was the VOICE of HDC. In her eyes that meant alot!!! She was a pure and genuine soul that had the most infectious smile that everyone knew and loved. She was always going above and beyond her way to help those that were in need, no matter what limb she had to go out to get it she would do it. She had a way of comforting you even on your darkest day. Kathy will forever be in our hearts and those that are left behind will cherish the memories and keep her loving spirit alive!!!! Soar high you loving ANGEL!! I was blessed to have you in my life!! Love you, Linda Roth Rodweller

Kathy was a super sweet person and always had a smile on her face. I remember her picking up Raianne for weekend sleepovers when she was small and that special time just brought her so much joy. My deepest sympathies to Charlie, all of her family and friends, in this especially difficult time. Laurie DalCin-Wagner (Jenn’s sister)

My office was right next to the switchboard, and if a mouse was spotted, I don’t know which of us got up on our chairs faster! Kathy was unique and sweet and I never knew her to have a bad word to say about anyone. She had to call our home off-hours, and weekends (even Christmas Eve one year) either to inform me that a client had passed, or to let my husband know that a Cottage was complaining of no heat. She always used humor to try and make the call easier.
Kathy was attentive to every visitor, and greeted everyone with that smile! The parents especially appreciated her compassion and caring. She knew all the families by name, and asked after their loved ones as she issued them a “Pass”.
My husband has a fond memory as well. A supplier was in his Shop one day and heard Kathy’s announcement of the lunch special at the Canteen : ....”with CREAMY mashed potatoes!..” The man turned to Paul and said: “I’ve GOT to meet that woman”!
The World is a sadder place without Kathy in it. My deepest condolences to her family, and may the Lord hold you in his arms and give you comfort and peace. Debe Spinks

I have known Kathy for a long time. Her and Charlie would sit with me and my husband and others at the HDC Christmas parties. We always had a great time.
I could fill a book about just how wonderful Kathy was. Kind, caring, loving, supportive and on and on we could go.
She will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
