Guy was one of the first people I met in the film industry while we both worked on the film "Imaginary Crimes" in Portland, OR, back in 1993. I was new to the industry and at first thought Guy looked like a mean person. That thought quickly vanished as soon as we first spoke. He was like a big teddy bear. Sweet and funny and a joy to work with.
He disappeared from Portland and despite asking nearly everyone I knew in the industry in Portland over the many years since, I couldn't find any updates on him. In fact, I asked someone just last week and again, was disappointed that they didn't have any info about Guy. On a whim, I just googled his name and was very saddened to learn of his death, as I'm sure others in Portland will feel when I let them know.
For his family, just know he was loved here and will be missed.
