I worked at HDC and had the privilege of caring for and knowing Brian. What a beautiful smile! It lit up the room. He was always one of my favorites. He is surely an Angel above. Sorry Mrs. Liller. He had a wonderful Mom in you! Thinking of all of you during this sad time. He will be missed. Alice Coleman

Alice - I remember you being at HDC for years. Thank you for your kind words. Also thank you for everything you did while at HDC for Brian and others too. I have several pictures of Brian and his infectious smile. It will take awhile for me to adjust to him not being there for me to go visit. Not sure this tribute will work through here, but this is Brian's life memories. Many before HDC. https://www.tributeslides.com/tributes/show/88DYPBLLZDNQ5JXY?e=1

I worked with Brian a lot in the early milennium and I loved making him laugh telling him Elvis was "Dead". He thought I was just nuts because he always saw the Elvis impersonators. So to him he wasn't "dead".
I was so honored when the HDC arranged a trip to the theater company I was with when we did "Room Service."I know he loved it. He made me laugh when i worked in an area where the staff drove me crazy on a daily basis but I always had Brian to give me a smile and a laugh to make it threw the day I will miss him a lot. This year I will be teaching theater and I will make sure that I will save an area for him to see any of my shows. anytime.
Bless you my little pal.

Hi Todd - I know Brian loved you. I could always tell who was his favorites. You always made sure he had entertainment in his room, which he was confined to much of the time. I remember you loaning/giving him DVD's that you thought he may like. Thanks for everything you did for him! - Mrs. Liller

Brian was the sweetest man; always smiling or laughing. He simply loved people and he loved slap-stick jokes.
I worked with him many years and NEVER saw him unhappy. And big kudos to his mother who visited him faithfully and loved him to the moon and back.
Brian, rest in the arms of your savior. You have fought a good fight and have finished your earthly race. Now, a crown of eternal life is yours.

Hi Sheree - Thank you for everything you did for and with Brian. Just being there to joke with him made him happy. I guess that smile is the thing I will miss most. I'm heartbroken to loose him, but I'm so thankful for the hope we have of seeing him again. Brian was always an Angel to me, but now his earthly battle is over, and he can enjoy the beauty of Heaven in the presence of Jesus. - Mrs. Liller

May you ALWAYS know how much Brian was LOVED!! I had the pleasure of working with him while I worked at HDC. He had the most infectious smile that lit up the room when he entered the room. Brian was a very loving, sweet and smart young man. He has left a deep and solid imprint on my heart along with many others!!! Heaven will welcome him with open arms and he will soar with the angels. When the sunshines we will know it's that infectious smile shining down upon us all. Rest easy sweet Brian we will forever love you!!

Hi Linda - I know Brian was loved by so many. I appreciate the good care he received while he was at HDC. They provided more fun things for him to do than I could have ever provided at home or in any other setting. All were affected by Brian's welcoming smile!! I will remember your words about the sunshine when I am having a gloomy day. I know Brian is in Heaven waiting for a great reunion day when we can be together again!!

I had the pleasure of knowing Brian for many years. His smile was contagious, his sense of humor was amazing. God has accepted him with open arms. He is now free of all the limitations he faced all his life. I know Lisa was waiting for him! God bless his dear mother. She was so devoted to Brian. She rarely missed a daily visit, usually at dinner time. Mrs Liller, you were his angel. May God give you peace at this time. He will truly be missed by so many. RIP Brian, until we meet again.

Mary - Thank you for your kind words. Yes, Brian had a great sense of humor!! He and Lisa are probably dancing for joy together in Heaven. They made the sweetest couple. Not going to HDC has been the most difficult thing. I was not allowed to see my precious Brian for almost 3 months prior to his death. (because of COVID) Neither would they allow me at the hospital. That was the hardest thing to endure. - Mary Liller https://www.tributeslides.com/tributes/show/88DYPBLLZDNQ5JXY?e=1

I met Brian early in High School, as I am friends with his sister, Alicia. To meet him was to love him! I had the unexpected pleasure many years later to see him again at Hunterdon Developmental Center. I was a Nursing Instructor bringing students there for a clinical experience. I cannot explain the joy I felt to see Brian again! His smile and laughter could make anyones day! Needless to say, I always assigned a student to him, and they too always said how fun he was to interact with. It also gave me the opportunity to spend time with my old friend. I know Brian will be dearly missed, but his amazing smile and laughter continue on. To know him was my honor. God Bless you Brian.

Hi Jen - I know Brian must have remembered you and was happy when he saw you at HDC, although it had been several years since he had seen you. Thank you for being kind to Brian, not only at HDC but when you were still in High School and visited our home. It takes a special person with a loving heart to be in the field you have chosen. We will all miss his beautiful smile!

To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of The Lord.Brian brought joy to all whose lives he touched. He had a great sense of humor and he lived his life to the fullest. I don’t remember a time when he didn’t have a smile on his face.He leaves behind so many people who loved him, who will miss his smile and laughter but know he is in his eternal home and one day we will see him again. May God bring peace and comfort his family and friends. I worked at HSS/HDC from 1970 to 2013 and had the pleasure of knowing and caring for Brian during that time .Live Janice Devers Allen RNHN
